Karen MORGAN

Dancing from the age of 3 was a decision made by Karen's Mum and Doctor, as Karen was extremely pigeon toed. By 5 years old Karen passed her first RAD Ballet exam with honours and excellent turned out feet!

From an early age Karen's undeniable passion for dance was clear. She danced wherever she went! Karen completed her Primary, Grade 1, 2, 3,4, Senior, Pre-Elementary, Elementary and Intermediate exams in Classical RAD Dance. She also studied and passed Character exams 1, 2 and 3.

By 1990 with a performance of Swan Lake, Karen made the decision to end her dancing career. The expectations and pressure of a dancer became too high and her love of dance was lost. That was until 2010 when Kylie introduced Karen to the world of Physical Culture! At the tender age of 37, Karen was convinced to give this unique dance sport a go... and it didn't take her long to fall in love with Physie.

"I remember Googling Physie before I started and thinking it looked a little scary! But giving it a go was the best decision I ever made. I found me again. My love of dancing returned in the very first lesson. I was hooked!

I love that I share this sport with my daughter, and I have made lifelong friends. I love the fact that there is no pressure - just joy. I love the life lessons we learn in class - to be authentic, kind and responsible. To be grateful, passionate, accepting and mindful. To just be yourself. And that knowing your true worth is everything.

Physie makes me feel alive and energetic, and I love that it caters for all ages and all abilities."
